Pick Up Pup – Terms & Conditions

​At Pick Up Pup, we are committed to providing reliable, professional, and sanitary pet waste
removal services for Hernando, MS, and surrounding areas. To ensure consistent quality and
customer satisfaction, we follow these Terms and Conditions:

​

1. Service Plans & Pricing

Pick Up Pup provides residential and commercial pet waste removal on a recurring schedule.
Each service includes scooping, double-bagging, and placement of waste in the customer’s trash can unless the customer subscribes to the Haul-Away Add-On ($20/month).

 

Pricing and service frequencies are outlined in Appendix A.​

2. Initial Cleaning Policy

  • Every new yard requires an initial deep cleaning before starting regular service.

  • The initial cleaning fee is $80, which is waived for new subscribers who sign up for a recurring plan.

  • If a customer cancels immediately after receiving a free initial cleaning, the $80 fee will be charged retroactively.

3. Payment & Billing

  • All services are billed monthly in advance. 

  • Payments are processed automatically by credit card through our secure billing system.

  • Accounts must remain current to avoid service interruption.

  • Prepaid services are non-refundable. If a client cancels mid-month, no pro-rated refunds will be issued for unused weeks.

  • Customers will be notified of any price adjustments prior to their renewal date.

4. Scheduling & Access

  • Services are performed on a recurring schedule unless otherwise arranged.

  • Clients must provide yard access (unlocked gate, code, etc.).

  • If access is denied on service day, the visit will be skipped and charged as a normal service.

5. Waste Disposal

  • By default, all pet waste is double-bagged and placed in the customer’s outdoor trash can.

  • Customers who prefer waste to be removed from their property may subscribe to the Haul-Away Add-On for $20/month.

  • Disposal is handled in compliance with local sanitation guidelines.

6. Sanitation & Safety

  • All tools and equipment are cleaned and sanitized between services.

  • Shoes are disinfected between yards, or technicians may wear disposable shoe covers.

  • Staff wear gloves and maintain safe, hygienic practices at every visit.

7. Pets in Yard

  • Pets may remain in the yard during service if non-aggressive and approachable during service.If a dog shows signs of aggression, it must be secured indoors or in another safe area

  • If safe access cannot be provided, the visit may be skipped without refund.

8. Add-On Service Safety

  • While sprays are pet-safe and eco-friendly, it is safest for pets to be brought inside during application and until the treatment is dry.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring dogs are secured indoors during add-on service applications.

  • Once the yard is dry, pets may safely return outside.

9. Cancellations & Pauses

  • Clients may pause or cancel service with 7 days’ notice.

  • Credits or refunds are not issued for skipped services due to locked gates, unsafe pets, or hazardous conditions.

  • No credits, rollovers, or refunds are issued for missed or canceled visits.

10. Customer Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If a client is unsatisfied, Pick Up Pup will return within 24 hours to re-service the yard at no additional cost.

​

11. Safety Around Dogs and Yard Conditions

  • Technicians will rattle gates or make noise before entry to alert pets.

  • If an unexpected dog is present, technicians will proceed cautiously.

  • Aggressive dogs must be secured indoors; otherwise, service may be skipped without refund.

  • If a pet is known to be aggressive, clients must confirm by text that the dog is secured indoors before each visit. If confirmation is not received within 10 minutes of arrival, service will be skipped and charged as normal.

  • If an owner releases a dog during service, technicians may call out (“Scooping the yard, all OK!”) to clarify their presence.

  • Unsafe wildlife, tall grass, broken gates, or other hazards may result in skipped service, with photos provided to the client and office.

  • Repeated safety issues may result in termination of service.

12. Liability & Legal Terms

  • Pick Up Pup is not liable for damage caused by pets, wildlife, or unsafe yard conditions.

  • Pick Up Pup is not liable for injuries caused by customer pets, unsafe access points, or hazards on customer property.

  • Customers are responsible for disclosing known hazards, including aggressive pets, broken gates, or unsafe yard conditions.

  • Pick Up Pup reserves the right to terminate service at any time if conditions are unsafe or if client conduct is deemed inappropriate.

  • All services are provided “as is.” Pick Up Pup is not responsible for missed waste due to tall grass, leaves, snow, or other obstructions.

Appendix A: Service Pricing & Add-Ons

Prices are based on yards up to 14,000 sq. ft. and typical conditions. Additional fees may apply for larger yards, more pets, or excessive waste. All prices are subject to change with prior notice.

Initial Cleaning

  • $80 one-time fee, waived for new subscribers.

  • Charged retroactively if service is canceled immediately after the initial visit.

​

Add-On Services

  • Deodorize $15 per spray (covers up to 2,000 sq. ft.)

    • Neutralizes odors and bacteria, pet-safe once dry.

  • Front Yard Repellent → $15/spray

    • 5-foot-wide pet-safe barrier along sidewalks to deter passing dogs.

  • Haul-Away Service → $20/month

    • Waste is removed from the property instead of being placed in the customer’s trash bin.

 

No Refunds / No Rollovers

All services are billed monthly in advance and are non-refundable.
Missed visits due to locked gates, unsafe conditions, or unrestrained pets will not be credited, refunded, or rolled over into future periods.
